Bag of heroin worth £120,000 found at bus station
A man was arrested after police discovered the drugs at Glasgow's Buchanan Street terminal.
A bag of heroin worth £120,000 has been found at a bus station in Glasgow.
Police made the discovery at Buchanan Street Bus Station on Thursday night.
They said the bag contained more than two kilograms of the class A drug.
And they estimated it would be worth £120,000 on the streets.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged drugs offences.
He is due to make an appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
Police Scotland said in a statement: "At 7.15pm on Thursday, July 12, 2018 police in Glasgow received a report a bag containing drugs had been found in Buchanan Bus Station.
"The bag contained more than two kilograms of what is believed to be heroin, with an estimated street value of £120,000.
"A 35-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with alleged drugs offences.
"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
