Man raped 12-year-old boy after dragging him into close
Yones Beyranvand was sentenced to nine years in prison after the attack in Glasgow.
A man who dragged a 12-year-old boy into a close and raped him has been jailed.
Yones Beyranvand, from Iran, was sentenced to nine years in prison for assaulting and sexually abusing the youngster in Glasgow.
The 37-year-old compelled the boy to go with him, forcing him to his knees before raping him on August 18, 2017.
When police searched Beyranvand's city home, they found an extreme image of bestiality. He was convicted of having this in his possession.
Detectives also found indecent images of children on his computer.
Judge Johanna Johnston QC ordered Beyranvand to be monitored in the community for two years after his release from prison, although the court heard he may be deported.
