One man has died and another has been left seriously injured following an alleged stabbing.

Police were called to Radnor Street in Clydebank amid reports of a disturbance involving four people shortly before 6pm on Sunday.

Two men, aged 31 and 34, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with critical injuries.

The 31-year-old died a short time later, while the 34-year-old remains in hospital.

Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Anyone with any information regarding this incident should contact police."
