A man who died after an alleged stabbing in Clydebank has been named.

Dominic Brown, 31, from Cornock Street was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the incident but died a short time later.

Another man was also taken to hospital after the same incident which took place on Radnor Street just before 6pm on Sunday.

Medical staff have described the 34-year-old's condition as serious but stable.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of Mr Brown and a 38-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of the 34-year-old.

Both are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
