Motorway delays after seven car crash causes tailbacks
Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Sunday afternoon.
A crash involving several vehicles on the M8 is causing long tailbacks and delays in North Lanarkshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 12.20pm on Sunday heading eastwards at Newhouse, near junction six.
It is believed six or seven vehicles were involved and the road was closed as a result.
Fire crews, police and ambulance personnel were also at the scene.
Police Scotland said there had been no reports of any serious injuries
