A weather warning has been issued as rain continues to batter parts of Scotland.

Areas including Dumfries and Galloway will be affected until 7pm on Wednesday.

The Met Office has warned to expect longer journey times, with bus and train services affected.

Police have warned drivers to take extra care.

A spokesman said: "The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain on Wednesday.

"This will result in lots of spray and some flooding on roads. Journey times may take longer and drivers should take extra care."

The flooding comes just days after Hurricane Oscar.

Amber flood warnings were issued for 12 areas, including Tayside, Argyll and Bute, Central and the Scottish Borders.
