A third suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a man in North Lanarkshire.

Kevin McGuire, 51, was discovered critically injured outside his home in Morar Street, Wishaw, on Sunday, October 14.

He died later from his injuries at hospital.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged, and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.

Police confirmed a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

As reported by STV News previously, Rizwan Ahmed, 30, and Kamram Ahmed, 26, have already appeared in court accused of murdering Mr McGuire.

They made no plea or declaration during the private hearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court and they were committed for further examination. Both were remanded in custody and are expected to appear in court at a later date.
