Man arrested and charged over 'murder bid' outside pub
A 50-year-old man was left in a serious condition after a disturbance in Prestwick on Sunday.
A man has been arrested after an alleged murder bid outside a pub in South Ayrshire.
A 50-year-old man was left with serious injuries following the disturbance at the Buf in Prestwick at 2.15am on Sunday.
He was taken to Ayr Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Police have confirmed a 20-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear before Ayr Sheriff Court on Wednesday and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
