A man has been attacked by a gang of five teenagers following a disagreement at the Exhibition Centre railway station in Glasgow.

British Transport Police are appealing for information into the incident that took place at around 7.25pm on Saturday.

The 50-year-old victim was assaulted after he was involved in an argument with the five boys, all aged between 16 and 17-years-old, at the station's booking office.

He was then attacked by the gang and left with an eye injury.

Officers from BTP have issued an appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident and asked that they contact them by text on 61016 or by telephone on 0800 40 50 40.
