CCTV images have been released of two people police want to speak with in relation with a number of handbag thefts at Morrisons Supermarkets in Glasgow.

Officers investigating the incidents believe the man and woman pictured will be able to help with their enquires.

The three incidents involved customers having their property stolen while shopping within the supermarkets on the southside of the city.

Two of the thefts took place in Morrisons on Titwood Road, Crossmyloof and the other in the supermarket's branch on Fenwick Road, Giffnock.

The first incident took place on Crossmyloof at around 5.30pm on Friday, December 7, the second in Giffnock around 12 noon on Saturday, December 8.

And the third took place again in Crossmyloof around an hour later on the same day.

Police have asked anyone who recognises these individuals, or who has information that may assist the police investigation to contact Giffnock Police Office through 101.
