A man and a woman have been charged after £2.3m worth of drugs were seized during a raid on in West Dunbartonshire.

More than 41 kilos of cocaine, a "significant quantity" of diazepam tablets, a kilo of heroin and just over 14 kilos of cannabis was recovered from a property in McCreery Street, Clydebank.

Officers raided the house at around 8.20pm on Saturday, March 2.

A 30-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.

Detective sergeant Nicky Beattie said: "This substantial recovery shows our commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in our local communities.

"This seizure ensures that £2.3m worth of drugs will not be distributed on our streets.

"Drugs cause real devastation to people's lives and the wider community. The public can be assured that targeting drugs and tackling those involved in criminality remains a priority."
