Man arrested after gas explosion 'murder bid' at flat

A man has been arrested after a gas explosion at a flat in Glasgow.
The alleged attempted murder happened on Kennedar Drive shortly after 7am on Friday.
A 26-year-old man, who is fighting for his life following the explosion, has now been arrested.
A woman, 30, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with minor injuries.
She has since been discharged.
Residents were evacuated from the area while investigation and clean-up works took place.
As well as shattered glass on the road, firefighters removed loose debris and windows.
GHA managing director Jennifer Russell said: "People were allowed back in shortly after the incident but we'll continue to support them with anything they need.
"We're also working closely with the police and fire services."
