An accountants office has gone up in flames in a deliberate fire.

The blaze happened at J M Simpson & Co on Tollcross Road in Glasgow at 8.15pm on Saturday.

More than 20 firefighters battled the flames while roads have also been closed.

Police are treating the blaze as deliberate.

A spokeswoman said: "At 8.15pm, emergency services attended a fire at a commercial building.

"It is being treated as wilful and a joint investigation is under way with the police and fire service.

"No one was injured and road diversions are in place."

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman added: "Operations control mobilised four fire engines and an aerial appliance to the scene of a well-developed fire within a two-storey business premises."
