Football fans heading to the Celtic v Rangers match on Sunday are being warned to expect rail delays.

The Scottish Premiership clash will take place at Celtic Park at 12pm.

ScotRail has advised passengers to plan ahead and buy tickets before boarding their train to keep services running as smoothly as possible.

Travellers have been warned that several trains have been cancelled to allow Network Rail carry out improvement works.

Replacement buses will be put in place for people travelling between Glasgow and South Lanarkshire.

Bus services will also be available between Bridgeton in Glasgow and Motherwell, and between Glasgow Central railway station and Motherwell.

Trains are expected to run between Carfin in Lanarkshire and Edinburgh, however a replacement bus will run between Glasgow Central and Carfin.
