A major search is underway for a Renfrewshire schoolgirl who has been missing for two nights.

The last sighting of Dani McKinlay was at St James' Train Station in Paisley at around 7pm on Thursday.

Concern over her welfare is continuing to grow.

The 15-year-old, who was wearing a navy blue jacket with a fur hood, a Celtic top and green trainers when she was last seen, is described as around 5ft4 with a slim build, green eyes and blonde hair.

She is known to frequent Greenock, Largs and Irvine and could have potentially travelled to any of these areas.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts should contact police on 101.
