Four teenagers have been arrested after a mass brawl at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park.

Police were called to the park at 4.30pm on Friday where hundreds of people were enjoying the warm weather.

A mass brawl is said to have broken out, forcing police on horses to be called as well as a helicopter.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old man were arrested over assault, having an offensive weapon and breach of the peace.

Officers said two 16-year-olds suffered minor injuries following the rammy.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Extra patrols have been organised for this weekend in Kelvingrove Park.

"The weather looks nice and we remind all persons enjoying the park to act responsibly.

"Remember, drinking alcohol in the park is an offence. Don't take the chance of being charged."
