Motorist dies at scene after car collides with crash barrier

A driver has been killed after his car collided with a crash barrier.
John Adams, who was 32, died in the incident on Kilmaurs Road (B751) between Crosshouse and Knockentiber at around 5.45pm on Friday.
Police said his white Peugeot 205 left the carriageway and hit a crash barrier.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His relatives have been informed of the death.
Sergeant Mark McGowan of the Central Road Policing Unit at Helen Street, Glasgow is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact him on 0141 532 6442.
