Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games ticket prices to be revealed
Ticketmaster will sell around one million tickets for the event next year.
The ticket prices for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games events are to be revealed.
On Monday, Games organisers will unveil details of the process members of the public can go through in order to purchase tickets for the competition.
Earlier this month, Ticketmaster was chosen as the firm that will sell around one million tickets for Glasgow 2014.
Sports fans will be able to purchase tickets online and over the phone when sales launch in August, while there will also be box office facilities set up during the Games.
Ticketmaster sold in excess of 10.9 million tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Tickets will be available with no booking and the only additional charge will be for secure delivery.
Around 4500 athletes from around the Commonwealth will compete in 17 sports over 11 days across Glasgow and beyond next year.
The Games will begin with an opening ceremony at Celtic Park while events will be held at several venues across Glasgow, including the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and Scotland's national stadium, Hampden Park.
