Kieran Tierney wins October player of the month award
The Celtic player has been rewarded for his performances in another unbeaten month.
Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has been named as the Premiership player of the month for October.
The Scotland full-back has continued to play a key role for the champions as they went though October without defeat.
"It's my first one, I'm delighted with it," he said. "It's a hard thing to get, you have to play well every game. I couldn't have done it without the boys."
Tierney played every minute of Celtic's Premiership matches last month.
Brendan Rodgers' side began with a 1-0 home win over Dundee before an emphatic 3-0 win at Aberdeen and a 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock.
The 20-year old was a standout performer in the victory against Celtic's closest rivals at Pittodrie, opening the scoring before a Moussa Dembele double sealed the three points.
Tierney also committed his long-term future to Celtic last month, signing a new six-year contract with the club.
