Rangers stopper Alves signs one-year deal with Parma
The veteran defender has completed his move back to Serie A after undergoing a medical.
Bruno Alves has left Rangers to join Italian side Parma on a one-year deal.
The Portuguese defender had travelled to undergo a medical and conclude a move to the Serie A side and has now become their latest signing, ending a year-long stint as a Rangers player.
Alves' future at Ibrox had been in doubt as new manager Steven Gerrard overhauled his squad and he agreed an early termination of his contract before signing with Parma..
The Portuguese centre-back had been on international duty at the World Cup but returned to Glasgow before heading to Italy.
Alves moved to Rangers from Cagliari last summer as the most high-profile of Pedro Caixinha's signings and he made 25 appearances for the side.
However, Gerrard has recruited Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic in the same position.
Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Jamie Murphy, Ovie Ejaria, Jon Flanagan and Lassana Coulibaly have also signed for the club this summer.
