Rangers finalise move for Roma striker Umar Sadiq
The Light Blues have confirmed their ninth addition of the summer transfer addition.
Rangers have confirmed the signing of Roma forward Umar Sadiq on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old becomes Steven Gerrard's ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
Sadiq's move was confirmed hours after midfielder Lassana Coulibaly also joined the Light Blues, with the two loanees given a tour of Ibrox on Tuesday afternoon.
Nigerian Sadiq spent last season on loan in the Netherlands from Roma, scoring five times in 12 appearances for NAC Breda.
The 6 ft 3 attacker originally joined Roma on a loan deal from Serie B outfit Spezia, but soon made his move to the Italian capital permanent.
Across six appearances with the Giallorossi first team he has scored twice.
