Rangers complete move for Croatian defender Borna Barisic
Osijek defender Barisic has become Steven Gerrard's 11th signing of the summer.
Rangers have signed Croatian international Borna Barisic from Osijek.
The 25-year-old has penned a four-year deal with the Ibrox club after a fee of around £2m was agreed.
Barisic impressed against the Light Blues during the recent Europa League qualifier and scored Osijek's goal at Ibrox late on.
Steven Gerrard decided to push through a move after Rangers prevailed in the second round tie and has now made Barisic his 11th summer signing.
The former Dinoma Zagreb stopper was included in Croatia's initial 32-man pool for the World Cup but missed out on selection when the eventual finalists reduced their squad to 23.
Barisic told Rangers TV: "The most important thing is that I give 100 per cent every game, the fans at Rangers recognise that.
"I will give my heart for Rangers at Ibrox and any other stadium. I want to give back because the fans, the manager and everybody at the club believed in me."
