The former Man United forward takes his Norwegian side to Easter Road on Thursday.
Molde coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Hibs will present his side with their first real test as they look to progress towards the Europa League group stage.
The former Man United forward takes his Norwegian charges to Easter Road for the first leg of the third round qualifier on Thursday evening.
Molde eased past Albanian side Lac in the last round, while Hibs recovered to edge past Greek outfit Asteras Tripolis 4-3 on aggregate.
Solskjaer, who will be reunited with one of his former players in Edinburgh having coached David Gray at Man United, anticipates Neil Lennon's side will prove a big step-up in quality of opposition for his team.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to seeing one of my old students, David Gray.
"I was really impressed with how they turned it around from 2-0 down against a good Greek team.
"We know this is going to be a tough task for us.
"We've been in good form lately, the last round wasn't the most difficult, to be honest.
"This is the first real test for us."
Molde wonderkid Erling Braut Hauland has been linked with moves to Man United and Borussia Dortmund, having been watched by scouts of the two European giants.
The 18-year-old is in Molde's squad for the Easter Road contest, though, much to Solskjaer's delight.
He said: "He's here, he's still our player. He's done well the boy so I'm happy I have still got him."
