West Brom have offered £3m for Rangers captain James Tavernier.
The Championship outfit have made their move to sign the full-back ahead of the looming English transfer deadline, which sees the window slam shut at 5pm on Thursday.
Tavernier has been named skipper by new Light Blues boss Steven Gerrard after becoming a key figure for the Ibrox club since his arrival in 2015.
The 26-year-old quickly established himself as the first choice right back at Rangers following his move from Wigan.
Over 145 appearances for Rangers so far, the attack-minded defender has scored 28 times.
