Scotland Women star Kim Little suffers fractured fibula
The Arsenal Ladies star suffered the injury during the 5-0 win over Chelsea.
Scotland Women star Kim Little faces ten weeks out of action after sustaining a broken fibula playing for Arsenal Ladies.
The 28-year-old was injured after a heavy challenge during Arsenal's 5-0 win over Chelsea and was replaced just after the hour mark.
The Gunners have confirmed Little, who was the first recipient of the PFA Women's Players Player of the Year award, now faces a substantial layoff that will see her likely ruled out of action until the New Year.
Little had enjoyed a fine run of firm before the injury disappointment, helping the Gunners maintain a 100 per cent record in the WSL and playing an instrumental role as the Scots qualified for next year's Women's World Cup.
