Middleton starts for Rangers against Spartak Moscow
Steven Gerrard has named his team for the Europa League Group G clash in Russia.
Glenn Middleton has been handed a starting place in the Rangers team to face Spartak Moscow.
The youngster has been picked by manager Steven Gerrard as the replacement for Ryan Kent, who is ruled out of the Europa League match through injury.
It's one of five changes from the team that defeated St Mirren on Saturday as Rangers look to extend their 11-match unbeaten run in Europe this season.
Allan McGregor is in goals, behind a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Nikola Katic and Jon Flanagan.
Lassana Coulibaly comes into the midfield alongside Ovie Ejaria and Scott Arfield, while Middleton and Daniel Candeias will look to supply Alfredo Morelos from the flanks.
Wes Foderingham, Joe Worrall, Andy Halliday, Ryan Jack, Eros Grezda, Ross McCrorie and Gareth McAuley are on the bench.
