Knee operation forces 'unfortunate' Danny Racchi out of action
The Kilmarnock midfielder will miss five or six weeks due to injury.
Kilmarnock midfielder Danny Racchi has been ruled out for five or six weeks after undergoing a knee operation.
The 23-year-old has made 10 appearances for the club this season, scoring one goal.
Racchi played in the 3-1 defeat to Aberdeen and has played in every one of the club’s SPL games so far this term.
Manager Kenny Shiels told the Kilmarnock Standard: “Danny has been doing well and it’s unfortunate to lose him at this time.”
The Englishman arrived at the club in the summer of 2011, making 23 appearances and scoring two goals.
Racchi previously played for York, Bury and Huddersfield Town.
