As it happened: Celtic 2-0 Stjarnan in Champions League qualifier
Follow how the match unfolded as Ronny Deila's side took on the Icelandic champions at Celtic Park.
Celtic opened their competitive campaign at home to Icelandic Champions Stjarnan as they embark on a new European adventure.
They enter the Champions League qualifiers at the second round, the first of three they will have to overcome if they're to reach the group stages.
The Hoops played host for the first-leg of the tie, welcoming Stjarnan back to Scotland just 12 months after they knocked Motherwell out of the Europa League qualifiers.
Kris Commons missed out through injury, after fracturing his toe last month but Ronny Deila handed competitive debuts to new signings Nadir Ciftci and Dedryck Boyata. Goalkeeper Logan Bailly is on the bench.

80 Ciftci will be kicking himself after being taken off so close to that penalty, he could have had his first Celtic goal laid on a plate for him. Then again, he would have had to have battled with Johansen for it because he was making it obvious he wanted that shot...
.@Leighgriff09 will take responsibility from 12 yards but Nielsen makes the save from the spot.— Celtic Football Club (@celticfc) July 15, 2015
77 PENALTY!!! Johansen felled in the box and the referee points to the spot.— Celtic Football Club (@celticfc) July 15, 2015
74 It just wasn't to be for Ciftci tonight. He battled away and was desperate to find the net but he's just been replaced by Anthony Stokes...who almost scores with his first touch.
Very fluid so far positionally between Griffiths and Ciftci. Both dropping deep when required but shades of 4-4-2 when ball goes wide— Scott McClymont (@mcclymontscott) July 15, 2015

GET IN STEFAN! Superb! Celtic looking ropey at the back but that makes things a little easier. A two goal lead always vital in Europe.— paperbhoy (@paperbhoy) July 15, 2015
59 James Forrest, who has failed to really trouble the Stjarnan defence with his crosses, is substituted for Leigh Griffiths.

52 Surprise and frustration ring around Celtic Park as Stjarnan come close to equalising. If they'd had someone on the back post that could have been an easy tap in for the visitors.

21 Another good chance for Celtic to break the deadlock but Stefan Johansen drags his shot wide of the post. Is it a matter of time for Celtic or are this Icelandic side going to continue to frustrate them?
