Celtic captain Scott Brown led by example as he scored his first goal of the season in his club’s 3-1 win over Kilmarnock as Rugby Park.
The Scotland international finished off a fine move down the right wing as Gary Hooper and Adam Matthews combined.
Brown found space inside the box and stroked the ball past Cammy Bell despite a late challenge from Borja Perez.
The 27-year-old played a key role in setting up Joe Ledley for Celtic’s second.
After the game Brown wasn’t too ken to discuss his ongoing hip problem, adding: "I think we have had enough talk of this surgery.
"It is boring me now, so I think we will get on to other things and look forward to the next game.
"We have a big game on Wednesday against Arbroath and that's the main thing."
However he was pleased to win a £20 bet with manager Neil Lennon, joking he would use the money "on the deposit on a house".
