Rowan Vine was singled out for particular criticism for a challenge on Darnell Fisher, with Ryan McGivern also being criticised for a tackle on the youngster.
The fallout from the match also spilled onto social networking sites, with Rowan Vine taking to Twitter to react to Neil Lennon's suggestion of strong arm tactics.
It wasn't the only controversial call in the match, with Hibernian's opening goal the subject of some debate.
Goalscorer Paul Heffernan looked to be offside when he received the ball, before slotting it underneath Fraser Forster.
