Amido Balde leaves Celtic in loan move to Belgian side Waasland-Beveren
The striker has moved to the Belgian Pro League on loan after failing to impress Ronny Deila.
Amido Balde has completed a deadline day move from Celtic to Belgian side Waasland-Beveren.
As STV reported earlier on deadline day, a loan deal for the Portuguese striker was agreed between the clubs with Balde moving to the Belgian Pro League side for the remainder of the season.
The deal has now been completed ahead of the transfer window closing.
Beveren will be paying the player's wages for the duration of the loan but it is not clear if they will hold an option to buy him at the end of the season.
Balde was recruited from Vitória Guimarães in June 2013 and was handed a four-year deal at Celtic Park. He failed to break into the first team on a regular basis under Neil Lennon and has similarly failed to impress Ronny Deila.
The 23-year old made 20 appearances for Celtic but only found the net on three occasions.
Waasland-Beveren currently sit in 15th place in the 16-team Belgian Pro League after six games of their season.
