Hapoel Tel Aviv confirm loan deal for Celtic forward Amido Balde
Forward has departed Celtic after spending the first half of the campaign in Belgium.
Celtic forward Amido Balde has joined Hapoel Tel Aviv on loan until the end of the season.
The forward spent the first half of the campaign at Waasland-Beveren but failed to make a big impact in Belgium.
Balde was recruited from Vitória Guimarães in June 2013 and was handed a four-year deal at Celtic Park. He failed to break into the first team on a regular basis under Neil Lennon and has similarly failed to impress Ronny Deila.
The 23-year old made 20 appearances for Celtic but only found the net on three occasions.
Speaking on his new club's official website, Balde said: "I've heard many good things about the club and the atmosphere."
Hapoel Tel Aviv sit ninth in the 14-team Israeli Premier League with 20 points from their 17 matches.
