Dundee have signed goalkeeper Arvid Schenk on a short-term deal.
The 25-year-old will provide cover for Scott Bain with the club's first choice shot stopper Kyle Letheren out through injury.
Schenk, 25, has spent all of his time in Germany's lower leagues with St Pauli II and Wolfsburg II having come through the ranks at Hansa Rostock.
Welsh international Letheren was ruled out for six to eight weeks with cartilage damage.
He was injured during the warm up for the 3-1 win over Motherwell with Bain playing in goals.
The former Alloa player also featured in Saturday's 2-0 win over Hamilton Academical.
