Scott Robertson could miss up to six weeks for Hibernian with knee injury
Midfielder sprained his medial knee ligament in the Under-20s Edinburgh derby.
Hibernian midfielder Scott Robertson is set to miss a month of action after suffering a knee injury.
The 28-year-old was stepping up his return to the first team after suspension when he was hurt in an Under-20s game.
Detailed results from a scan on the injury are expected to conform he has strained his medial knee ligament, with a spell of around six weeks on the physio’s table expected.
Manager Terry Butcher said it was a blow to lose the experienced central midfielder.
Butcher said: “Scott Robertson unfortunately had quite a serious injury on Tuesday night in the Under-20s game against Hearts.
“It’s very disappointing for Scott. He played well on the night but unfortunately got that knock.”
