Rangers to travel to face Albion Rovers in Ramsdens Cup first round
The Third Division champions will go to Coatbridge on Saturday, July 27.
Albion Rovers will host Rangers in the first round of the 2013/14 Ramsdens Cup.
The Coatbridge side, relegated to the Third Division last season, will take on the league's champions on Saturday, July 27.
The Ibrox club will be able to field two of their summer signings as trialists, as per competition rules.
Nicky Law, Cammy Bell, Jon Daly, Nicky Clark, Steven Smith and Richard Foster will all be vying for starting slots in the club's first game of the 2013/14 season.
Thirty-three teams were in the hat for the first round, with three current non-league sides involved in a regionalised draw.
In the North/East section, the pick of the ties include Cowdenbeath v Dunfermline Athletic and Highland League side Formartine United hosting East Stirlingshire.
In the South/West side of the draw, relegated Dundee will start their season away to Alloa Athletic, who were promoted to the First Division via the play-offs, while Airdrieonians will host Hamilton Academical in a Lanarkshire derby.
Holders Queen of the South are at home in the first round, taking on either Spartans or Threave Rovers. The two potential opponents will play a preliminary round over two legs on Saturday, July 13 and Saturday, July 20.
Fixtures will be played on Saturday, July 27.
