St Johnstone striker Steven Maclean signs contract extension
The former Rangers and Aberdeen striker has signed a deal to keep him at McDiarmid Park until the end of 2013/14.
St Johnstone striker Steven Maclean has signed an extension to his contract at McDiarmid Park, keeping him at the club until 2013/14.
The 30-year-old striker has scored three goals since returning to Scotland from Yeovil Town, and has impressed with a number of industrious performances.
His current deal was due to expire in January but he has committed himself for a further 18 months to the Perth club.
Maclean started his career at Rangers, but made just three appearances before a highly successful time at Scunthorpe and Sheffield Wednesday.
He then moved to Cardiff, but failed to recapture his previous form, moving out to Plymouth Argyle after just one year. He moved to Aberdeen on loan in 2010, scoring five goals in the second half of the season.
