Morton take Spaniard and Finn on trial
Jorge Larena and Tuomas Rannankari are training with the First Division side with a view to winning deals.
Greenock Morton have taken two players on trial as Allan Moore looks to add to his squad in the January transfer window.
Former Spain Under-21 international Jorge Larena, who had a spell with Atletico Madrid, arrived in Scotland on Sunday.
Larena, who is an attacking midfielder, is available on a free having left Las Palmas at the end of last season.
The 30-year-old spent three seasons with Atletico Madrid in Spain’s top flight from 2002 to 2005, making 85 appearances, and also played for three years with Celta Vigo.
He will be joined by Finnish Under-21 left back Tuomas Rannankari, who is currently on the books at Dutch side FC Twente.
Rannankari, 20, moved to Holland in 2009 from KuPS and is currently being coached by former Dutch international striker Patrick Kluivert with Twente’s youth side.
