Aberdeen could be set for a £200,000 windfall if former winger Sone Aluko seals a dream move to Serie A giants Juventus.
The Nigerian international, who left Pittodrie in the summer, will attempt to win a deal with Antonio Conte’s men during a trial period.
The midfielder spent four years in the North East and the club are entitled to compensation for their role in developing the player who is still under 23.
Aluko has allegedly attracted the attention of several Italian sides however the Old Lady were the first team to set up a trial.
The 22-year-old, who is represented by his father, has been on the lookout for a new club since rejecting a new deal to stay with the Dons this summer.
The former Birmingham City youngster had been linked with Sven-Goran Eriksson’s Leicester City but a deal failed to materialise.
Dons boss Craig Brown said he was aware of the situation and the club were awaiting contact from any club willing to offer Aluko a contract.
The former fans’ favourite played over 100 games for the club scoring ten goals.
