Hibernian take defender on trial
Sligo Rovers player attempts to win deal with Pat Fenlon's side.
Hibernian have taken Sligo Rovers defender Iarfhlaith Davoren on trial.
The left back will train with Pat Fenlon’s team in a bid to win a deal with the Easter Road side.
Davoren joined Sligo in 2010, having played for Galway United, Athlone Town and Longford Town.
The 25-year-old has represented Ireland at university level.
Hibs have conceded 26 goals in sixteen matches this season.
Assistant manager Billy Brown hit out at his side's defending in their 3-1 defeat to St Johnstone with the club only keeping three clean sheets in the league this season.
Fenlon has played down suggestions of a January clear out but admitted he was looking to strengthen certain areas of his squad in the transfer window.
