St Mirren midfielder Paul McGowan has been named as the Scottish Premier League's player of the month for December.
The former Celtic player, who joined the Buddies on a permanent basis in the summer, was in fine form for Danny Lennon's side in five top flight appearances.
McGowan's month reached its peak on Christmas Eve when he shone in a 2-1 win over Rangers, scoring his side's second goal shortly before half time.
The 24-year-old also featured against Inverness, Aberdeen, Motherwell and Dundee United as his side picked up six points from a possible 15.
